Experienced Estimator needed for a civil construction company, highly competitive salary offered for the right candidate.
The Company  
Our client has been a market leader in the provision of services to a diverse range of clients spanning the last 14 years across variable sites in both commercial, mining, oil & gas and residential building and construction projects since its inception.

The Position
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team. 
Key responsibilities include:
  • End-to-end management of the tendering and estimating process for assigned
  • Develop detailed cost estimates, identification of risks and opportunities, and preparation of high-quality tender submission documents
  • Ensure full compliance with the Conditions of Tendering, project specifications, and client requirements
  • Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders such as operations, engineering, and commercial teams to develop competitive and accurate proposals.
  • Maintain and update to ensure all tender-related interactions, pipeline opportunities, and client communications are accurately recorded and monitored to support business development and strategic planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of non-priced criteria response documentation, zero harm plans, safe work method statements and control plan
  • Daily reporting on estimate progress and commitment to highlight potential problems in a timely manner 
The Candidate
The person that our client is looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Civil Estimator
  • A strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, materials, and costs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office and Bluebeam. 
Tangible Criteria
  • 30K - 5M estimator deal
  • Engineering background preferred
  • 85% mining companies, the local government
