We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Carpenter Assistants to join our team. Starting pay offered from $25 hourly for 30-40 hours a week; however, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per the above pay rate. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:
- Assist with the construction and installation of wooden structures.
- Support carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow PPE guidelines.
- Help ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Work closely with carpenters and team members to complete projects.
- Report issues and assist in problem-solving as directed.
- Adapt to changing tasks, schedules, and priorities.
- Interact politely with clients and stakeholders when required.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials (preferred).
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement).
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
- A pre-employment drug test and police check are required.
