We are currently seeking reliable and full-time Carpenter Assistants to join our team. Starting pay offered from $25 hourly for 30-40 hours a week; however, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per the above pay rate. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:

  • Assist with the construction and installation of wooden structures.
  • Support carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow PPE guidelines.
  • Help ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Work closely with carpenters and team members to complete projects.
  • Report issues and assist in problem-solving as directed.
  • Adapt to changing tasks, schedules, and priorities.
  • Interact politely with clients and stakeholders when required.

 

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials (preferred).
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions. 
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement).
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
  • A pre-employment drug test and police check are required.
