We are looking for FIve (5) Food Trade Assistant to join our team. The position is full-time and can start straight away. Hours are flexible and may include weekends depending on the job orders. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week.

We are looking for reliable people with good working attitude, who are well presented with good numeracy skills and a good command of written and spoken English. As well, you must have the ability to work within required time frames, get along with other staff and have a real interest and passion for customer service. Must also be physically fit and healthy as some heavy lifting involved to fulfill requirements of the role.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure that customers receive efficient and courteous service at all times.
  • Carry out any requests made by the Reginal Manager, Shop Manager and 2IC
  • Ensure that all property is handled with care
  • Be fully conversant with establishment standards, operations and services, and carry out duties to these standards
  • Deal with customer's compalints, queries with authority, or refer to supervisor.
  • Assist with inventories as required
  • Be flexible in relation to working late night hours or additional hours other than standard operating times
  • Maintain good working relationships with fellow staff and management
  • Comply with all staff house rules & policies

Qualifications and/or Experiences:

At least level 1 qualification, ot compuslory secondary education OR a short period of on-the-job training may be considered

Hours: Minimum guaranteed hours of 30 per week

Hourly rate or Salary band: $23.50 - $30.00 per hour

Employment Type: Permanent Full-time

Location: Waikato/ or possible locations either in Hamilton, Taupo, Matamata. You might be requested to work at difference venue within the same town if there is a staff shortage but not required.
