Please note that this is a permanent full-time role and you will need to work from Mon to Sat (30 - 50 hours per week). 

About the role

We are seeking 4 skilled and reliable Formworkers to join our civil construction team. You will be responsible for constructing and dismantling the molds used to shape concrete for a variety of structural elements, including foundations, walls, columns, beams, and slabs. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial, residential, or civil infrastructure projects and possess a strong understanding of carpentry tools, materials, and construction safety.

What you’ll do

Read and understand specifications in blueprints, sketches or site plans

Prepare project work procedure and determine dimensions and materials required

Coordinate with concrete workers to ensure successful pours and proper curing of concrete

Strip, clean, and maintain formwork systems after concrete has set

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks

What you’ll bring

At least two years of relevant work experience in the civil or construction industry

It will be an advantage if you can attend the on-site interview

Be a great team player and be able to follow instructions

Physical fitness and good hand-eye coordination

Regular and reliable attendance
