Position Available: Site Supervisor

Location: Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $27 – $32 per hour 
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience. OR level 1 or above Qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise orchard teams in daily operations including pruning, thinning, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting.

  • Allocate tasks, prepare work rosters, and monitor productivity.

  • Ensure work is performed in line with quality standards and health & safety requirements.

  • Train and guide orchard workers on correct horticultural practices.

  • Monitor orchard progress and report to senior management.

  • Maintain accurate records of activities, staff performance, and orchard progress.

  • Assist with planning seasonal workforce requirements.

Position Available: Operations Manager

Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience. OR level 4 or above Qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee overall orchard operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.

  • Develop and implement seasonal work plans including pruning, thinning, irrigation, fertilisation, spraying, and harvesting.

  • Manage workforce planning, recruitment, and staff training.

  • Monitor orchard performance, yields, and quality control.

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support smooth orchard operations.

  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial records, and production reports.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

  • Drive improvements in orchard productivity and sustainability.
