Alonzo Painting and Decorating Services is providing top-quality interior and exterior residential and commercial painting services.

We are looking for 5 painters to be part of our amazing team. You will be based in Auckland. This is a full-time permanent position. Wages are between $34 - $35 per hour and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Job Description

  • Remove dirt, grease, and dust using a mild detergent and water. Rinse thoroughly and let it dry completely.
  • Remove loose, peeling, or flaking paint using a paint scraper or putty knife
  • Smooth the surface with sandpaper to create a slightly rough texture for better paint grip.
  • Fill any holes, cracks, or imperfections with a suitable filler or putty. Once dry, sand the patched areas until smooth
  • Mix, match, and tint paints to achieve desired colour
  • Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • Apply paint, varnish and wallpaper to decorate surfaces
  • Set up and dismantle scaffolding, operate compressors, and use spray equipment
  • Keep the work area clean and free of debris
