Aircon & Electrical Service Ltd located in Newmarket, Auckland, is looking for two full-time Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team.

As a Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster. You will be responsible for:

Job Duties:

Measuring and laying out installation reference points; selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors.

Prepare, assemble and install new fixtures and appliances ready for connection, connecting electrical systems to power supply, testing continuity of circuit.

Prepare, assemble and install new electronic components for new Dwellings, such as all kinds of lights, switches, sockets, smoke detector, camera, etc

Install other functional and decorative home improvements such as oven, dishwasher, wall mounted TV, CCTV, security door, security locker, home theatre, background music system, etc

Using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults. 

Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts; positioning and installing electrical switchboards.

 

About you:

At least three years of relevant experience or
 
NZQF Level 4 or above qualification

Physically fit with a clear criminal record

Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
