Job Tasks

  • Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and goods to residential and commercial locations on time.

  • Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS and local knowledge.

  • Verify delivery information, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation for each delivery.

  • Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring secure handling to prevent damage or loss.

  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery times or address issues.

  • Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.

  • Handle urgent or time-sensitive deliveries with a sense of urgency and professionalism.

  • Provide courteous and professional customer service at every delivery location.

  • Assist with basic warehouse duties such as sorting, scanning, or organizing parcels during downtime.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of courier driver experience or Level 1 qualification

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs or more)

  • Excellent navigation skills and strong knowledge of local routes (with or without GPS)

  • Proven ability to meet tight delivery deadlines under pressure

  • Willingness to work long, irregular, and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

  • Willingness to work in varied weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.)

  • Basic understanding of safety regulations and vehicle maintenance

  • Must pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Basic English communication required (verbal
    and written)
