Electronic Trades Worker

What you’ll be doing

• Interpreting complex wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Installing, connecting, and commissioning electrical systems, switchboards, lifts, and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults using advanced electrical and electronic test instruments.
• Leading testing, commissioning, and adjustment of electrical, fire alarm, and telecommunications systems.
• Installing and maintaining conductors, cabling, and a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Providing expertise across fire alarm, air conditioning, refrigeration, communication, and business machine systems.

What we’re looking for

• Strong trade background in electrical or electronic systems.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Proven ability to install, test, and maintain a wide variety of systems (electrical, fire alarms, telecommunications, PV solar, lifts).
• Proficiency with electrical test instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship.

Positions available in the following regions: Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Southland, Northland, Taranaki, Gisborne, Canterbury, Otago. When workers are required to travel, appropriate travel and accommodation expenses will be provided.
