Machine Technician needed

We are seeking a skilled and experienced machine technician to join our dynamic team. You will need to have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to be qualified for this role.

Location of Work: Auckland

Number of Vacancies: 1

Type of employment: full time, 30-40 hours per week

Days required: Monday to Saturday 

Pay: $30 - $32 per hour  

Your duties will include:

·      Operate, adjust and calibrate processing machinery including CNC machines, cutting machines, laminating presses, sanding and finishing equipment  

·      Read and interpret production orders, drawings, and specifications to plan production tasks

·      Monitor operations, detect faults, and make machine adjustments to ensure efficient production and minimise waste.

·      Diagnose and rectify technical faults in machinery, tools and processes

·      Carry out routine servicing and adjustments

·      Assemble, finish, and check processed components for accuracy, surface finish, and compliance with specifications.

·      Work closely with production supervisors and other team members to meet production and delivery timelines.

·      Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental standards, including safe handling of machinery, tools, and finishing materials.

 

Successful applicants will have:

·      At least 3-year experience of relevant work experience

·      A relevant qualification is preferred but not essential

·      Able to meet deadline and work under pressure

·      Great work ethic and a hard-working attitude

·      Can produce high quality work and focus on quality at all times
