 Pipe Fitter / Welder - Heavy & Stainless Steel Fabrication
We are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters/Welders with proven skills across carbon steel, stainless steel, and duplex materials. The ideal candidate will bring a strong trade background, relevant qualifications, and a solid track record in high-quality fabrication and welding work.
Requirements - CV & Credentials
  • Full CV including education and work history (timeline must be clear).
  • Trade certificates and qualifications.
  • Relevant training certificates.
  • Previous welding qualifications.
  • Verified employer references.
Fitting Experience
  • Must have: Sch 40 to Sch XXS carbon steel pipe fitting experience.
  • Preferred: Sch 40 to Sch XXS stainless/duplex steel pipe fitting.
  • Preferred: Dairy tube / Sch 10 stainless pipe fitting, knife end & root gap fitting.
  • Preferred: Vessel fitting experience.
  • Nice to have: Structural fitting experience.
  • General knowledge of fabrication techniques (gas/plasma cutting, flame straightening, distortion control, prepping/cutting equipment).
Welding Experience Carbon Steel (Sch 40 - Sch XXS Pipe/Vessels)
  • TIG root (GTAW) - all positions (must)
  • Stick fill/cap (SMAW) - all positions (must)
  • Flux Cored (FCAW) fill/cap - all positions (must)
  • MIG root (STT) vertical down (preferred)
  • Sub arc welding (SAW) flat (preferred)
  • Stick root/fill/cap - vertical down, live line (nice to have)
Stainless & Duplex (Sch 40 - Sch XXS Pipe/Vessels)
  • TIG root/fill/cap (GTAW) - all positions (must)
  • Stick fill/cap (SMAW) - all positions (must)
  • Flux Cored (FCAW) fill/cap - flat (must)
Dairy Tube / Sch 10 Stainless
  • TIG root/fill/cap (GTAW) - all positions (must)
Structural Welding
  • TIG fillet (GTAW) - all positions (must)
  • Stick fillet (SMAW) - all positions (must)
  • Flux Cored fillet (FCAW) - all positions (must)
  • MIG root (STT) vertical down (preferred)
Specialist (Nice to Have)
  • Orbital/manual stainless tube welding to bio-processing standards (clean piping).
  • Autogenous root run (GTAW).
  • Manual root run (GTAW).
