Description

Ravenstone Homes based in East Tamaki, Auckland, specializes in residential construction and renovation projects. We are looking for two carpenters to join our awesome team. 

You will be expected to work at different sites throughout the Auckland region, a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to work on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $30-$35 based on the candidates' experience and skills.

Job Description for This Position

  • Read and interpret plans

  • Calculate takeoffs of required building materials

  • Will be doing framing, formwork, and some foundation work

  • Install doors, mid-floors, and trusses

  • Must be able to use assorted power tools

  • Complete finishing work e.g.: door handles, skirting, etc.

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants

  • At least two years of relevant experience in carpentry is required

  • Relevant qualification or certificate is an advantage.

  • Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role

  • Be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting.

  • A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress. 

  • Able to work with deadlines and schedules, and available to work weekends if required.
