Mason Corporation Limited (MCL) is seeking a skilled and reliable Driver & Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Auckland. The role involves transporting stock from our 800 sq. metre warehouse to our 35 retail stores across the greater Auckland region, handling fragile items with care, and assisting with stock movement and organisation inside the warehouse. Shifts start at 6:30am so you can load the van before the warehouse staff arrive at 7am. Shift finishes around 6pm, which include time on the road.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Safely drive the company van to deliver stock to retail stores across Auckland.
- Load and unload stock, including fragile and delicate items such as glassware, vapes, and flavours, ensuring careful handling.
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and organise stock within the warehouse.
- Secure and handle heavy stock (up to 25-30kgs) repeatedly, following health and safety requirements.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the van, and perform regular inspections and basic maintenance of both the van and forklift
- Maintain accurate delivery records and follow assigned delivery schedules.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, fuelled, and in excellent working condition.
- Assist with stock management, storage, and compliance with workplace safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure time-efficient deliveries while complying with NZ road safety rules.
Skills and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ commercial driving experience (not driving your own car).
- A valid New Zealand drivers licence with clean driving record – no speeding or other traffic-related infringements or offenses.
- A valid forklift licence.
- Must have good
- Physically fit – must be able to repeatedly lift up to 30kgs.
- Excellent reliability, time management, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including 12–14 hour shifts during peak periods.
- No prior injuries that may affect driving, lifting, or warehouse duties.
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
