Job Title: Area Manager  

Location:Whanganui

Minimum & maximum work per week:  32 - 50

Working days: Monday to Sunday, rotating roster between 11PM to 7AM

Pay range: $35.00 to $40.00

We are is a leading provider of professional cleaning services, dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. We are expanding our operations and looking for an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to oversee our teams in the Whanganui regions.

Role Overview:
As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our cleaning operations across the specified regions. You will lead and inspire our local teams to achieve performance targets, ensure high standards of service delivery, and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Recruiting, coaching and managing the performance of department leaders and other direct reports;

·       Communicating expectations and continuously provide guidance and direction to departmental leaders and direct reports to ensure corporate objectives, profit targets and efficiencies are achieved;

·       Working with department leaders in the development of plans, polices and processes for the continuous improvement of the company’s operating model;

·       Contributing to operational improvements and recommendations to strategic plans; contributing or preparing and completing action plans; implementing production,

productivity, quality and customer-service standards;

·       Preparing the annual budget and reports and presenting these to the board of directors;

·       Approving all major capital and operational expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions;

·       Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures that comply with legal regulations;

·       Managing relationships with key clients, vendors and suppliers, serving as the company’s representative in negotiations and at official and unofficial business occasions.

Qualifications:

- Proven 2 years work relevant experience in same industry or have a bachelor degree

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on best practices.
- Proficiency in using software for scheduling and reporting.
