Position Available: Road Transport Manager

Location: Auckland
Pay Rate: $33 – $38 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience or Level 4 or above qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily transport operations, including scheduling, route planning, and driver supervision.

  • Ensure compliance with NZTA regulations, road safety, and company transport policies.

  • Manage fleet maintenance schedules, vehicle inspections, and service records.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and support staff.

  • Monitor fuel usage, operational costs, and prepare budget reports.

  • Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely deliveries.

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to maintain smooth transport operations.

  • Ensure health and safety standards are met across all transport activities.

  • Investigate and resolve incidents, delays, or customer complaints.

  • Report regularly to senior management on operational performance.
