We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to join our growing team. This role is crucial to ensuring that our business data is well-managed, accurate, and insightful, enabling smarter decisions across design, production, and client service. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and analysing company data to support business operations and strategic decision-making. The role ensures data integrity, optimises database performance, and provides insights to improve efficiency across production, sales, and customer service functions. This is a permanent full time position and you will be required to work at least 40 hours per week. 

Key Responsibilities

Database Management

  • Design, implement, and maintain company databases.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Monitor database performance and optimise queries.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, clean, and analyse operational and business data.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for management.
  • Create dashboards and visualisations to support business insights.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis for projects and decision-making.

Business Support & Development

  • Collaborate with departments (production, sales, accounts) to identify data needs.
  • Support system integrations with ERP, CRM, and other software.
  • Recommend improvements to data processes and workflows.
  • Assist in digital transformation initiatives.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Monitor database access and maintain user permissions.
  • Maintain documentation of database structures and processes.

Key Skills & Competencies

·       At least a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

·       Experience in a database analyst, administrator, or similar role is preferred.

·       Knowledge of ERP or CRM systems

·       Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

·       Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

·       Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

·       Ability to translate technical information into business language.

·       Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
