Safety Nets NZ  Ltd is an Auckland-based construction company looking to expand its operations. We have on offer (5) full-time, permanent positions with 32 guaranteed hours per week, Monday to Friday. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, be physically fit, and possess excellent communication skills.

Providing  the solution to every height-safety concern.Looking for multiple experienced Carpenters/ Safety Net Installers. 

These are 5 full-time (32 hours guaranteed per week)  permanent positions.

As a Carpenter/Safety Net Installer, you'll be completing various carpentry duties and tasks and installing safety nets.  Including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with the installation and removal of safety net systems on construction sites

  • Learning rigging techniques and industry best practices from experienced team members

  • Working at height in compliance with safety standards

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.

  • Able to perform a wide range of carpenty tasks including installation of insulated panel and installation of other fixtures and fittiings to a high quality finish. 

    To be considered for this role, you should:
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant field, such as  carpentry, or safety net installation. 
  • Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Good work attitude and good communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to handle the heavy workload.
  • Strong dedication to health and safety at the workplace.
