We are seeking a qualified and experienced screen printer to join our established and creative team at Uniform Studio. This is a key position where you will operate industrial screen printing machinery, produce high quality printed garments and contribute to product developement in a collabrative and face paced environment.

This role requires both technical expertise and design knowledge, making it an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive team and contribute.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor and maintain both automatic and manual screen printing machines.
  • Interperate design briefs and art work to deliver high quality prints that meet clients expectations.
  • Select inks and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and consistant output.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to align screen printing techniques with art.
  • Clean, reclaim and shoot new screens including multi colour and half tone and 4 colour process prints.
  • Be able to meet production  and output schedules to maintain production efficiencey. 

Skills & Qualifications.

  • Minimum 6 months full time experience operating automatic and manual screen printing presses.
  • Demonstrated ability to interperate and reproduce screen printed art work.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, textiles and embellishment techniques as it pertains to screen printing on different form of textiles.
  • Strong technical precision and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and trouble shoot issues when they arise.
  • Team oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
