We are seeking a passionate and experienced Export & Import specialist to lead and expand our international trade operations. This role is crucial for driving our export growth into Korea while also managing the import and promotion of Korean beauty products in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle of export operations for New Zealand health food to Korea and Korean cosmetics from Korea into New Zealand

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Korean sellers, distributors, and e-commerce partners.

  • Prepare and manage trade documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, COA, RMP certificates, and customs declarations).

  • Ensure compliance with New Zealand and Korean regulatory standards.

  • Identify and onboard new Korean sellers, developing sales strategies for market expansion.

  • Manage logistics and warehouse partners to optimize cost and efficiency.

  • Import, promote, and distribute K-Beauty products in the New Zealand market, collaborating with local retailers, online platforms, and marketing partners.

  • Monitor market trends, provide insights, and report on trade performance.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • At least 5 year experinece in the exporting & importing industry or relevant qualification in the same field.

  • Bilingual proficiency in targeting language and English (business level required).

  • Strong experience in Korean online distribution platforms (Coupang, Naver Smart Store, Gmarket, etc.).

  • Solid background in export/import processes within the health food, cosmetics, or consumer goods industries.

  • Hands-on experience in preparing international trade documents.

  • Knowledge of global compliance and international logistics.

  • Proven ability to launch and promote consumer products in new markets (especially K-Beauty).

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
