We are currently seeking two experienced Motor Mechanics who have an interest in developing a

career in New Zealand. You will be required to work at the workshop or if required to travel

within locations if required.

Job Title: Motor Mechanic

Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour depending on experience

Minimum Weekly Hours: 30

Location: Auckland

The Role will include the following duties:

  • Assessing mechanical work and diagnosing problems.
  • Giving quotes for mechanical repairs.
  • Doing mechanical repairs of Diesel and petrol vehicles.
  • Engine tune ups of Diesel and petrol vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot non EFI systems of vehicles
  • Repair EFI vehicles.
  • Undertake repairs of non EFI vehicles.
  • Order parts as per required for repair work.
  • Undertake and other tasks as assigned by the managing Director from time to time, relate to mechanical field.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experince or Level 4 qualification.
  • Class 1 driver licence or equivalent
  • Be fit & strong with a solid work ethic
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Be able to start at 8.00 AM daily and available to work on weekends if required
