We are looking for an skilled and highly organized Fleet Manager to lead the
operations of our vehicle fleet in Auckland. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of transport regulations, cost control and the ability to manage drivers and vehicles effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine vehicle requirements based on operational needs
- Coordinate the rantals vehicles when required
- Manage fleet maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with servicing
standards
- Monitor and control vehicle usage and associated costs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all vehicle transactions
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and opportunities
- Monitor E-Road records and ensure full compliance with transport laws and
regulations
- Organise and lead regular staff meetings and training sessions to support
ongoing development and performance
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in transport sector
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and servicing procedures
- Proficiency with fleet management software and reporting tools
-Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all routes to optimise scheduling,
efficiency, and service delivery
- Possess a current Class 4 driver’s license, with the flexibility to operate
company vehicles when needed
Wednesday to Sunday 6PM -2AM (Rotating roster)
