We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team, helping us enhance our services and deliver exceptional support to our clients.

For the role, you will be the first point of contact for homeowners once they move into their new homes. You will carry out maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure our clients enjoy a safe, functional, and high-quality living environment.

What we offer:

A Full-time permanent role - 30 minimum guaranteed work hour per week

The rate of pay or salary: $26 to $28 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out after-sales maintenance, including repairs, adjustments, and defect rectifications.
  • Perform inspections and diagnose building-related issues promptly and accurately.
  • Liaise with building and engineering professionals, offering technical guidance and support.
  • Provide professional customer service to homeowners, addressing their concerns with efficiency and respect.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for specialist repairs when required.
  • Ensure work is completed to company quality standards, within set timeframes, and in compliance with health and safety practices.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance requests, completed work, and follow-up actions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in maintaining or repairing mechanical or electronic machinery and equipment.
  • Experience coordinating service requests and engaging effectively with clients is an advantage.
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical precision.
  • Reliability and ability to work independently.
  • Flexible in handling a variety of tasks, from performing repairs to coordinating with subcontractors.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills.
  • Good understanding of, or willingness to learn, building codes, finishes, and residential construction standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
  • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is a real bonus as our primary clients come from the Asian market, particularly Chinese clients. We will certainly consider all candidates.
