Assitant Manager/Boner

Ali Limited is located in Auckland and produces a range of quality continental small goods, chicken, beef and lamb. We have full-time work available for a hard-working, skilled Assistant Manager and Boner.

Pay Rate: Assistant Manager ($ 23- $ 24 per hour)

                  Boner ($ 23- $ 24 per hour)

Hours: Assistant Manager (30-35 hours per week)

            Boner (30-35 hours per week)

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

1. Hire and train sales associates to work on the floor as well as in shipping 
2. Allow your knowledge of emerging and consistent trends to inform purchasing and inventory decisions and solutions
3. Continually advance your product knowledge and that of other employees
4. Maintain accurate customer records for loyalty program
5. Manage and evaluate revenue and expense reports
6. Become liaison with corporate office and use contacts to promote the business and align with brand values 

Requirements:

1. Required at least Five years of relevant experience and
2. Must Have Relevant NZQA Level 7 qualification.
3. You should be physically fit able to lift up to 25Kg, committed and reliable.

Boner Responsibilities:

1. Remove bones from beef, lamb and chicken using knives and other tools.
2. Ensure minimal waste and maintain quality cuts of meat.
3. Grade meat based on appearance, size, and processing needs.
4. Regularly sharpen and maintain knives and cutting tools.
5. Ensure safe use and handling to preven injuries.
6. Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations regularly.
7. Stand for long periods, work in cold environments (chillers) and handle heavy carcasses or meat portions.
8. Ensure all health and safety and halal standards are met.

Requirements:

1. One year of minimum relevant experience is required.
2. Strong knife skills and precise hand coordination.
3. Good level of physical fitness.
4. Understanding of New Zealand's food safety standards.
