HTS Transport Limited is seeking two skilled and reliable Vehicle Technicians to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including trucks, other machinery and cars, to ensure they are maintained in safe and efficient condition.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in motor vehicles.
  • Carry out routine servicing such as oil and filter changes, brake inspections, suspension adjustments, and wheel alignments.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, steering and fuel systems.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and workshop tools to identify and resolve faults.
  • Test drive and inspect vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
  • Comply with health and safety requirements and keep the workshop clean and safe.

Skills & Requirements

  • Relevant qualification.
  • At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Vehicle Mechanic.
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.

Hours & Pay

  • Minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (rostered).
