Job Description:

As an Experienced Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency in every product. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Preparing doughs and batters for breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
  • Measuring and mixing ingredients with precision according to recipes.
  • Operating bakery equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and proofers, safely and efficiently.
  • Monitoring baking times and temperatures to produce high-quality items.
  • Decorating cakes, pastries, and other items as required.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the bakery and workstations.
  • Maintaining inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, and reporting shortages.
  • Adhering to food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborating with the team to meet customer demands and maintain a steady production schedule.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of relevant work experience as a Pastrycook or baker in a commercial setting.
  • Familiarity with various baking techniques and recipes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality baked goods.
  • Ability to work early shifts (starting at 3:00 AM).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Good physical stamina to handle long periods of standing and lifting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
