Are you a reliable truck driver looking to join a dynamic team? We are seeking a Class 5 Truck Driver to safely and efficiently transport goods to various destinations. If you have a passion for driving and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ·       Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • ·       Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel receipts.
  • ·       Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route, designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
  • ·       Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • ·       Collect and verify delivery instructions and any paperwork.
  • ·       Report defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
  • ·       Servicing, lubricating, cleaning, and refuelling the plant and performing minor adjustments and repairs.
  • ·       Follow all SOP policies that you signed off at your induction.
  • ·       Check ROC, COF and registration weekly.
  • ·       Set up traffic management around your site at all times. Safety barriers and safety cones will be carried on your truck at all times

Qualifications:

 Valid Class 5 driver’s license OR equivalent overseas license.

 Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.

 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 Ability to handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading items.

 Good communication skills.

 Familiarity with navigation tools and GPS devices.

 Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
