Type: Permanent, Full time 

Days required: Rotating roster, including weekends

Hours per week: 30 to 40 hours per week

Hourly Pay: $30 to $35 per hour ( Depending on experience)

Some of the Main Responsibilities include:

  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to their destination

  • Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines

  • Inspect trucks for mechanical and safety issues before and after each trip

  • Load and unload cargo from the truck

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road

  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times

  • Report any accidents, violations, or other incidents to management immediately

  • Maintain a clean and organized truck cab.

Skills and experience required _ 

Minimum two years relevant experience and a valid NZ Class 2 Driver License (or equivalent eligible for conversion). 

  • Good Physical fitness and manual handling capability

  • Ability to use winches and other vehicle-loading equipment

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and good time management skills

  • Basic English language proficiency (verbal and written)
