FUTURE BUILDING LIMITED located in Auckland, is looking for 3 full-time CARPENTERS to join our team. As a full-time CARPENTER, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster.

• Analyzed building plans and drawings to determine material specifications, dimensions, and installation procedures.
• Planned, ordered, and selected timbers and other materials, and prepared detailed layouts.
• Measured and cut materials accurately to the required sizes and shapes.
• Assembled and fastened prepared wood components to construct structures and fittings.
• Erected and installed walls, roofs, staircases, window frames, and boards.
• Fastened fascia panels, sheathed roofs, and fitted exterior wall cladding,as well as door and window frames.
• Constructed building frameworks and installed cladding on both the interior and exterior of structures.
• Removed and repaired existing fittings as needed.
• Any other duties required by team leader.

 

About you:

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the same industry OR a relevant NZQCF Level 4 qualification or above.
  • Physically fit with a clear criminal record.
