Job Details:

Location: Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Position title: Delivery Driver
Hours of work: Minimum of 30 hours per week, permanent full-time position
Pay rate: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive company vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver goods to customers in a timely and safe manner.

  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while complying with road safety regulations.

  • Load and unload goods, ensuring safe handling to avoid damage or loss.

  • Verify delivery information, obtain signatures, and complete delivery records accurately.

  • Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any issues or required maintenance.

  • Adhere to all workplace health and safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and use of equipment.

  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional company image.

  • Assist with warehouse and stock handling duties when required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A valid and clean New Zealand or overseas driver’s licence.

  • Ability to operate and maintain light delivery vehicles safely.

  • Good knowledge of local roads and navigation skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Full training will be provided; any prior delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
