Position Available: Team Supervisor

Number of Positions Available: 3
Location: Papamoa, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $28 to $32 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience
    OR
  • Level 1 or higher qualification

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise orchard workers performing canopy maintenance and crop care tasks.
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and quality of work.
  • Train and guide staff in safe and effective horticultural practices.
  • Monitor plant health and report any issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and orchard protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and staff performance.
  • Operate horticultural equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support seasonal operations including pruning, thinning, and harvesting.
  • Communicate with management regarding labour needs and orchard progress.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.

Position Available: Canopy Maintenance Worker

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform canopy maintenance tasks.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors to meet orchard standards.
  • Operate basic horticultural tools and equipment safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
  • Report plant health issues, hazards, or equipment faults to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Support orchard development and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity targets.
