Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland-based company and become a part of a great team; HERO INTERNATIONAL LTD are looking for six Excavator Operators.

As a Excavator Operator, you will be working a minimum 30 hours per week on a roster.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform excavation tasks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project instructions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to meet project goals.
  • Excavate and grade earth, rock, and other materials as required.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to maintenance staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 

Suitable candidates should have:

·        At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the same field or a relevant NZQF level 4 qualification or above, may substitute for the work experience.

·        Having good knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements.

·        Be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests should need to be.

·        Be physically fit.
