Blank Leaving Tattoo Studio, established in March 2022, has quickly built a strong reputation in central Auckland. Founded by a professional tattoo artist with a background in architecture, our studio specialises in the Inkwash tattoo style—a technique that has allowed us to carve out a unique niche in the local market. Our goal is to provide high-quality tattoos in a welcoming and creative environment.

Who we need
We’re seeking a tattoo artist with the following qualifications and skills:
- An impressive and original portfolio showcasing your tattoo work;
- A solid foundation in fine arts (painting, drawing, etc.);
- A relevant Level 4 qualification in Fine Arts, Design, Painting, or Drawing;
- Familiarity with or an interest in the Inkwash tattoo style;
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients;
- A good work ethic and professional attitude
What We Offer
- Competitive pay of $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
- A minimum of 30 hours per week
- A creative and supportive studio environment where your artistic growth is encouraged
Your Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients to discuss their tattoo ideas, designs, and style preferences
- Advising clients on the tattoo process and aftercare
- Designing and sketching custom tattoo artwork
- Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining tattoo equipment to ensure safety and hygiene
- Applying tattoos to clients' skin using high-quality, indelible inks
- Adhering to all health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination
- Staying up-to-date with health regulations and best practices
- Continuously developing and refining your unique tattoo style
