Sarang Butchery Limited is an Auckland-based butchery company specialising in fresh meat and smallgoods for retail and supply.
We are currently seeking two highly skilled and detail-oriented Butchers to join our team.
As a Butcher with our company, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and select meat for quality and freshness
  • Cut, trim, and prepare meat to customer specifications
  • Operate meat processing equipment (slicers, grinders, tenderisers)
  • Weigh, label, and package meat products
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in prep and display areas
  • Manage inventory and order meat supplies
  • Create and maintain appealing meat displays
  • Assist customers with meat selection
  • Produce smallgoods (sausages, bacon, ham) and monitor production for quality and efficiency

About you- Minimum requirements (one of the following):

  • At least two years of relevant work experience in meat processing / butchery, OR
  • At least a New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) Level 4 qualification in a relevant field, OR
  • A Bachelor's degree in any field.
