We're seeking an experienced Solar PV Installer to join our Wellington / Wairarapa team. This full-time, permanent role (40 hrs/week, $30/hr) is eligible for New Zealand's Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) under the Green List - Solar Installer (821413).
 
The Role
  • Install, commission & maintain grid-tied, hybrid & stand-alone PV solar systems
  • DC/AC wiring, testing, troubleshooting and customer handovers
  • Work on roof & ground-mounted arrays, ensuring safety & compliance
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years' relevant experience OR Level 3 qualification
  • Proven solar PV installation skills (residential or commercial)
  • Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read technical drawings & fault-find effectively
  • Full driver's licence
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential
Bonus: EWRB registration, HVAC/heat pump install experience, NZ Cert in Renewable Energy System Installation.
