Stone Benchtop Fabricator/Installers -Canterbury & Central Otago

A Local company, Southern Manufacturing  is looking for a 5 experienced Stone Benchtop Fabrication/Installers 

This role involves -Polishing and fabrication of engineered stone, porcelain, marble, granite and acrylic Benchtops. Mitering and on-site installation is also required. This role includes working closely with the Manager and other staff. Having a strong focus on deadlines and quality control are essential but not compromising profit.

You would have to have a minimum of 3 years experience working in this role.

You will be responsible for

·       Accurately following of Designs and plans to ensure that what the client receives is what he wants

·       Cutting, polishing and fabrication of stone benchtops

·       Operating stone machinery as required

·       On-site Installation of benchtops as required

·       Regularly monitoring own standard of work and ensuring great quality benchmarks are maintained

·       Ensure manufacturing guidelines are met and checklists are accurately completed

·       Accurately recording of individual job times as required

·       Observe all safety precautions and procedures, including the wearing of protective clothing and equipment

·       Maintaining a clean and tidy work area

·       Driving may be required in company vehicles 

·       You may be required to unload goods at the factory, or on site

·       Any other duties required to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the factory

The postion is 40 hours per week guaranted, Monday to Friday,

Competitive rate offer $30-35 depending on experience
