Job Description: 

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable tiler to join our team in Auckland. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the tiling industry and be ready to take on a full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Review plans, measure, and mark surfaces for accurate tile placement
  • Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive; filling any holes and cracks; and thoroughly cleaning surfaces
  • Apply adhesive to prepared surfaces, position tiles, and ensure precise alignment and spacing
  • Use tile-cutting tools to shape tiles for edges, corners, and around fixtures like fittings and pipes
  • Grout tiles, ensuring proper finish and removing excess grout
  • Apply waterproofing systems as required
  • Design and lay coloured tiles in intricate patterns to create mosaics 

Requirements: 

  • Relevant Level 4 qualification or a Minimum 3 years of tiling experience
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and punctual 

Location: Auckland | Full-Time | Minimum 30 hours per week Wage: $30 - $32 per hour (depending on experience)
