Eligibility Criteria:
- Diploma or higher Qualification in Business Management or Hospitality
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as Restaurant or Retail Manager
- Must have strong experience working in a restaurant/café or retail food outlet
- Must be ready to work in a 7 day roster
- Must be ready to work in early start or late finish rostered shifts

Summary of Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and control day-to-day operations of the fast-food outlet as a profit centre
- Organize the operation and administration of staff in the fast-food outlet
- Assigning work to and monitoring work performance of all staff
- Manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- Make a consistent effort to promote and advertise the fast-food business
- Organizing promotions, displays, and specials at different times of the year
- Planning an evolving menu depending on the customer enquiries and feedback
- Monitor the preparation of fresh and high-quality food items, including pies, burgers, sandwiches, rolls, chicken and chips, bakery products, and all hot and cold beverages
- Responsible for purchasing food supplies for the kitchen as per the planned budget
- Negotiate and place orders for food supplies from suppliers and vendors
- Maintain proper stock levels of food supplies and raw ingredients via stock auditing
- Ensure proper record keeping of inwards food supplies, ingredients, supplies and stock
- Responsible for managing the menu prices based on the purchase price and profits
- Managing the POS Machine, Cash drawer and customer payments on a daily basis
- Responsible for maintaining daily and weekly sales and transaction reports
- Control food wastage by proper monitoring of daily and hourly sales of menu items
- Ensuring high standard of quality control, freshness, hygiene, handling and food safety
- Ensure kitchen compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and NZFSA Legislation
- Adherence to all food safety regulations and company policies, including temperature checks, storage requirements, and hygiene and food-handling practices
- Conduct housekeeping on a daily basis and ensure all staff adhere to those standards, including regular cleaning of food preparation areas, equipment, and customer spaces
- Interact with customers to ensure that they have utmost satisfaction with the quality of the food and beverage, experience and the service they received
- Address and resolve all customer complaints about food or service in a timely manner
- Ensure that all other staff are upholding high customer service standards
- Responsible for selection, training, and performance management of staff
- Manage any conflicts between the staff to ensure outlet performance
- Prepare and maintain staff time rosters, based on business needs
- Preparing daily time sheet and wage records of all employees
- Provide feedback to management on matters of concern about staff or fast-food outlet
