Location: Te Puke, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
    OR
  • Level 4 or higher qualification

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain beehives across various sites
  • Monitor bee health, behavior, and hive productivity
  • Perform seasonal hive movements and assist with pollination contracts
  • Harvest honey and other bee products following industry standards
  • Identify and treat pests and diseases affecting hives
  • Maintain accurate records of hive inspections, treatments, and yields
  • Ensure compliance with biosecurity and health & safety regulations
  • Assist in training junior staff or seasonal workers
