SARTAJ TRANSPORT LIMITED is seeking a motivated and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in the Waikato region.

The candidate will be required to travel within the region, and all travel and fuel costs will be covered by the employer.

Key Duties:

• Operate class-1 Truck safely on assigned routes, delivering goods according to company schedules and business requirements.
• Inspect the vehicle and load before departure to ensure they are secure and in good condition.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and road transport regulations during loading, unloading, and transit.
• Maintain accurate records of goods transported, including delivery receipts, invoices, mileage, and fuel/toll expenses.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines and optimise fuel use.
• Perform scheduled deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely and accurate transport of goods.
• Monitor driving hours and rest periods to comply with legal requirements.
• Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or incidents promptly to the relevant supervisor.
• Maintain the truck’s cleanliness and operational condition, including routine checks of windows, mirrors, and the vehicle interior.
• Implement fuel-efficient driving practices to support operational sustainability.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.

Other important requirements:

• Available to Work on weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license (Class-1).
• Prior work experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
