Blind and Low Vision Education Network NZ (BLENNZ) are seeking applications for a qualified Developmental Orientation and Mobility Specialist.

This is a Fixed Term Full Time Position beginning Term1 2026 through to the end of Term 3 2026, to cover Maternity leave.

This position will be based in Christchurch providing service delivery to the Christchurch region, although some national travel may be required.

The Blind and Low Vision Education Network New Zealand (BLENNZ) is a special character national school that provides educational services to learners who are blind, deafblind or low vision.  One of the services it provides is Developmental Orientation and Mobility (DOM) which is about techniques and support to learners, their whānau and educational team to optimise the learner’s ability to move and travel safely.
