We are looking for a fulltim retail superstar to join our team as a Retail Manager at  S & H TRADING LIMITED. As Store Manager, you will take charge of the entire store; ensuring our customers have the best shopping experience they deserve. We are in the heart of the Rotorua community and provide an essential service to the locals.

  • Minimum guaranteed hours: at least 30 hours weekly - Max 48 hours

Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations
  • Determine product mix, inventory levels and service standards
  • Establish and implement purchasing and marketing policies, and set prices
  • Promote the products and services
  • Sell products and services to customers and advise them on product use
  • Maintain inventory levels and financial transaction records
  • Manage the budget
  • Select, train and supervise personnel
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

Applicants for this role should have:

  • Related work experience (at least 2 years), or a diploma in management, or a bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • A confident people leader with experience managing a small team
  • A great communicator and able to get your message across all levels
  • Holder of high standards, attention to detail, integrity and ability to think outside of the square
  • Problem solver and able to take action to enable solutions
  • A can do and professional attitude

This is a great opportunity for a diverse and challenging role in a fast-paced environment. Remuneration is negotiable for the right candidate, between $29.00 -$33.00 per hour depending on the number of relevant experiences and qualifications.
