Position Available: Commercial Cleaner
Number of Positions Available: 4
Location: Canterbury
Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour 
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week (Day and Night Shifts, 7 days rostered)

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience.
    OR
  • Level 2 or higher qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners
  • Follow health and safety protocols including proper use of PPE
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with local regulations
  • Maintain cleaning logs and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Ensure all work areas are cleaned to company and client standards
  • Respond to urgent cleaning requests and spill clean-ups as needed
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete scheduled tasks
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding cleaning needs and feedback
