Our Company is a Building and Construction Company. We are currently looking for 2 digger drivers, who are willing to work in a challenging environment with the skills required.

We require: -

Must have full Driver’s License with driving endorsements/ be able to obtain one.

Must be able to meet the Immigration New Zealand requirements to obtain a New Zealand visa if required.

A related qualification is preferable not mandatory.

Applicant must be physically fit in order to be recruited for this role.

A pre-employment medical and drug test will be a part of the recruitment process.

Flexible with working hours and should be able to work over the weekends

·      Must be able to prepare and position the plant for operation

·       Must be able to select, fitting and removing the attachments such as buckets, winches, loading scoops, shovel blades and rock breaking hammers.

·       Must be able to operate the controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil and other materials.

·       Must be able to monitor operate the plant and adjust controls to regulate pressure, speed and flow of operation, and ensure safety of other workers.

·       Must be able to raise, lower and manipulate attachments using manual and hydraulic controls.

·       Must be able to work from drawings, markers and verbal instructions.

·       Must be able to service, lubricate, clean and refuel plant and perform minor adjustments and repairs if required.

·       A safety-first attitude is essential

·       Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

·       Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions

Remuneration $30 per hour (As per market standards)

 

Minimum 30 hours of contract.
