Position: Site Manager

Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience or Level 4 or higher qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of kiwifruit orchard sites
- Supervise and coordinate field staff and contractors
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with orchard standards
- Manage schedules for pruning, thinning, harvesting, and spraying
- Conduct health and safety briefings and enforce safety protocols
- Maintain records of staff attendance, productivity, and site activities
- Liaise with Orchard Manager and clients regarding progress and issues
- Assist with training and onboarding of new staff
- Ensure equipment and tools are used safely and maintained properly
Position: Forklift Driver
Number of Positions: 3
Location: Katikati, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 year of experience or Level 4 qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to transport kiwifruit bins and pallets
- Load and unload trucks and trailers safely
- Stack and store produce in designated areas
- Conduct pre-operational checks and report faults
- Follow site traffic management and safety procedures
- Assist with bin placement and retrieval during harvest
- Maintain cleanliness and order in forklift operating areas
- Record movements and inventory as required
- Support packhouse or orchard teams during peak periods
Position: Agriculture and Horticulture Technician

Location: Katikati, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience or Level 4 or higher qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor kiwifruit crop health and growth stages
- Conduct pest and disease scouting and reporting
- Assist with soil and leaf sampling for nutrient analysis
- Support irrigation and fertigation scheduling
- Record data on crop performance and treatments
- Apply sprays and treatments as per orchard plan
- Assist with pruning, thinning, and canopy management
- Maintain compliance with GAP and biosecurity standards
- Collaborate with Orchard Manager on technical improvements
Position: Orchard Manager
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Katikati, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $38 – $45 per hour
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience or Level 4 or higher qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall operations of kiwifruit orchards
- Develop and implement seasonal work plans
- Supervise site managers and field teams
- Monitor orchard performance and crop yields
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and audits
- Manage budgets, procurement, and resource allocation
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Oversee health and safety systems and training
- Report orchard performance to company directors
Position: Horticulture Leading Hand

Pay Rate: $32 – $35 per hour
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience or Level 4 or higher qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead small teams in orchard tasks such as pruning and thinning
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor progress
- Train new workers on orchard procedures
- Ensure work is completed to quality standards
- Report issues to Site Manager or Orchard Manager
- Maintain tools and ensure safe use
- Assist with harvest coordination and bin placement
- Monitor worker attendance and productivity
- Support health and safety compliance
Position: Machinery Operator
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Katikati, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience or Level 4 qualification
- AND Valid driver’s license (Class 1) New Zealand or International
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tractors, sprayers, and mulchers in orchard blocks
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance
- Apply sprays and treatments as per orchard schedule
- Transport bins and equipment across orchard sites
- Follow GPS and mapping systems for precision tasks
- Maintain spray logs and machinery usage records
- Report faults or hazards to management
- Assist with irrigation and mowing tasks
- Ensure safe operation in all weather and terrain conditions
