We are running a successful newspapers distribution business in Auckland since 2019. We have multiple work sites throughout Auckland. We are looking for a Field Manager to lead our Paper Runners / Drivers team. You will be required to work between Monday-Sunday for minimum 30 hours to maximum 35 hours.

 

Role responsibilities:

·        Supervise and support delivery drivers and paper runners

·        Monitor route performance, delivery timelines, and customer service standards

·        Conduct field audits and vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and quality

·        Resolve operational issues and customer concerns promptly

  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Responsible for liaising with drivers, contractors and clients to determine requirements and handling complaints.
  • Before leaving the drop-off point, check that all delivered supplies align with the related paperwork.

·        Report on field performance metrics and suggest improvements

  • Responsible for maintaining business records and preparing reports.
  • Responsible for any shortages, excess quantities of copies, or delays.
  • Assess runs and identify improvements by understanding driver feedback to get the best route management possible

 

Job Requirements:

·       To be successful you must have at least 2 years of industry work experience.

·       Physically fit and willing to be hands-on in the field

·       Strong leadership and team management abilities

·       A positive attitude and great work ethic

·       Zero Tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace

·       Clean Character Background

 

Salar can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $28 to $35 per hour.
