The hairdresser is responsible for providing professional hair care and beauty services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and chemical treatments, while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. The role involves consulting with clients to understand their preferences, staying updated on current trends, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The stylist also plays a key role in building a loyal client base and upholding the salon’s reputation for quality and excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Consult with clients to determine desired haircut styles and services.
•    Cut, trim, and style hair, beards, and moustaches using scissors, clippers, and razors.
•    Perform hair treatments such as colouring, curling, straightening, and conditioning.
•    Shampoo, cleanse, and apply therapeutic or cosmetic solutions to hair and scalp.
•    Provide massages, skincare, and nail treatments; groom wigs or hairpieces.
•    Recommend and sell appropriate hair and beauty products to clients.
•    Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and equipment.
•    Record client information, manage payments, and order necessary supplies.

Requirements
•    At least 3 years relevant experience is required for this role
•    Relevant training certification is an advantage.

Hourly Rate: $27 - $35 per hour
Working Hours: 30 hours per week. Weekend work is required as part of the regular schedule
