Job tasks and responsibilities:-
• Plan and manage daily transport operations
• Coordinate vehicle schedules, delivery routes, and staffing to ensure timely service
delivery.
• Monitor compliance with transport laws, NZTA regulations, and health & safety
requirements.
• Manage and maintain records related to vehicle servicing, logbooks, customer
bookings, and operational costs.
• Supervise drivers and logistics personnel, ensuring high standards of performance
and customer service.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve service efficiency and cost
effectiveness.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and third parties to resolve issues and maintain service
standards.
The successful candidate will require the following skills:
• At least 2 years of previous working experience in the transport industry OR Relevant
Diploma level Qualification.
• Ability to efficiently allocate transportation requirements for all pick-ups and
deliveries.
• To be able to work well in a team; enthusiastic and self driven; ability to adapt to
change and think outside the box.
• Be Honest and Reliable
• Ability to work on Weekends
• Be punctual
• Be Drug free
• Have good attention to detail
• Clean Criminal History
Hours and Position:-
• It is a full time permanent job with minimum 30 hours per week.
