Extrastaff are seeking hardworking, experienced hammerhands for various frame and truss clients around Christchurch.

These are indoor factory based positions assembling pre-nail frames and trusses to go out to the building industry.

Some sites have both day and afternoon shifts available.

Various locations around Christchurch and North Canterbury.

What you will be doing:

  • Assembling frames and trusses
  • Handling and moving materials as required
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area


 

What we need from you:

  • A good work ethic
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Physically fit - capable of lifting and moving materials
  • Previous experience either as a hammerhand or working in frame and truss role
  • Reliability
  • Must hold at a minimum restricted licence, and own transport to and from the job
  • Must pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test
  • Clean MOJ
