About the Role:

 

This entry-level Service Person role is your chance to get a foot in the door with one of Australia’s leading open-cut mining operations. You’ll support maintenance teams, learn on the job, and gain valuable experience in a large-scale mining environment.

What you’ll be doing:

 

 

  • Supporting maintenance crews with refuelling, servicing, and basic inspections


 

 

  • Assisting heavy equipment teams and operating light vehicles


 

 

  • Working safely on site with strong team support


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What you’ll need:

 

 

  • Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in heavy industry, mining, civil, or transport roles


 

 

  • Full clean driver’s licence (Class 1 minimum)


 

 

  • Fit and reliable, able to work 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster


 

 

  • Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing


 

  • Valid NZ/AUS work rights 


 

 

 

 

 

 

The Offer:

 

 

  • 7 days on, 7 days off (12.5-hour day/night rotation)


 

  • On-site accommodation + meals provided


 

  • Relocation support for NZ-based applicants


 

  • Approx. $145,000–$155,000 AUD per year (includes shift allowances, weekends, public holidays, and super)
