Duty Manager Position: 1

We are looking for 1 Duty Manager to overlook the operations of our Retail Store in Marlborough Region in New Zealand. We are open 7 days a week.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:-

• Oversee daily store operations during your shift to ensure smooth functionality.

• Manage stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and ensure appropriate restocking.

• Making sure products are accurately priced and attractively displayed in the store.

• Ensure the store is clean, organised, and visually appealing at all times.

• Handle opening and closing of the store, including cash handling and payment settlements.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints.

• Promote sales and upsell products where possible to maximise store profitability.

• Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for customers.

• Supervise, motivate and guide store staff during your shift.

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure they are completed efficiently.

• Interview, hire, train and support new team members to understand store policies and procedures.

• Ensure adherence to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and other relevant regulations.

• Address and report any incidents or safety concerns promptly.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the store.

Candidate Requirements:-

Work Experience: -

• Minimum 6 Months Relevant Work Experience OR Relevant NZ level 4 Qualification is required.

• As the position involves complying with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and other applicable regulations, a valid Manager’s Certificate is essential

Hours and Position:-

It is full time permanent job with minimum 30 hours + per week.

Hourly Pay Rate: -

$25 to $28 per hour

Retail Store Assistant: 1

We are also currently looking for 1 Retail Store Assistant to join our team in Marlborough

Region, New Zealand.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers, ask questions, and drive sales;

• Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and Host Responsibility policies;

• Support the retail store manager with an array of operational tasks and projects, including stock

• Assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as product inventories and participating in stocktakes

• Labeling goods and ensuring the correct price is displayed;

• Accepting payment by a variety of payment methods and preparing sales invoices;

• Assisting the service delivery team with orders;

• Opening and closing of premises and associated security;

• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising

standards;

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service;

• Be courageous with being bold, innovative, and not afraid to take on any aspect of the role.

Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to work on flexible hours including weekends

• Must be clean and tidy

• Ability to commute to work with reliable travel as the store

• $24.50 to $26 per hour
